Porto Carras enhances tourism in Northern Greece with promotional projects
The Porto Carras Grand Resort participated in the Tourism - Gastronomy Fair “Grekland Panorama”, the first exhibition exclusively for Greece, held on 14-16 February 2014 at the modern and impressive exhibition center “Globe Arenas”, with area 3,000 square meters in Stockholm, under the support of the Ministry of Tourism and the participation of GNTO .
The stand of Porto Carras stood because, apart from distributing leaflets, posters and other material, offered to the guests the opportunity to experience the exquisite traditional products of Porto Carras Grand Collection, production of unique Domaine Porto Carras, which were “magnet” for thousands of Swedes. Domaine Porto Carras has the largest organic vineyard in Greece with an area of 4,750 acres and 45,000 trees. The extra virgin olive oil, organic oregano and thyme, black truffle, traditional sweets and jams are some of the exquisite products of Domaine Porto Carras Grand Collection that were experienced by visitors around the exhibition.
Porto Carras Grand Resort also participated in the 31st International Tourism Exhibition “Tourist Fair HOLIDAY & SPA EXPO 2014”, held on 13-15 February 2014 at the exhibition center of total 6,000 sq.m “Inter Expo Center” in Sofia, Bulgaria .
The participation of the complex Porto Carras Grand Resort in the two reports marks the targeted strategy that has been adopted aiming to an “opening” in the Nordic market and continue to attract the Balkan tourists. Actions of this type are of catalytic help to increase tourist traffic in all Northern Greece and Halkidiki.
